Complete land acquisition quickly for prime projects, collector Ramsundar Reddy directs officials

Vizianagaram Collector Ramsundar Reddy: District Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy on Tuesday directed the officials to complete the land acquisition for the prime projects and handover to the respective agencies as earliest. Revenue and Railway officials must work in coordination to ensure these public interest projects are completed on time. Land acquisition for proposed Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) in municipalities be finished quickly to resolve drainage issues,” he added.

On Tuesday, he held a review meeting with district officials at the conference hall and discussed the progress of land acquisition for key infrastructure projects, railway lines, and national highways in the district. Joint Collector S. Sethu Madhavan, DRO CH. Sattibabu, RDOs, representatives of various departments, Tehsildars, and DTs of Land Acquisition (LA) units participated in the review meeting. During the meeting, the collector reviewed pending issues project by project and ordered that the land acquisition process be completed within the stipulated deadlines. He specifically directed officials to expedite pending works related to the Bhogapuram International Airport.

Vizianagaram Collector Ramsundar Reddy: The Collector also reviewed the Thotapalli, Tarakarama, and Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi projects. Regarding railway infrastructure including Vizianagaram – Sambalpur 3rd line, Kothavalasa – Vizianagaram 4th line and Khurda Road – Vizianagaram 3rd line. On this occasion, he instructed officials to prepare gazette notifications and structure valuation reports for these lines.
